The neckline in "V" extends down the back with it. Both the neckline and the back serve as a frame for the double and important ruffle that crowns this regal piece. The upper ruffle was made with a strip cut in waves and made with Swiss embroidery of floral motifs that are combined with the Alawa anagram. Under the embroidered ruffle there is another wave ruffle embroidered on the edges that adds volume and flight to the whole set. Both gathered fabrics are incorporated into the body of the garment with a piping as a frame. The cups are removable and under the chest there is an extra support rubber band.
